Some sites of Nashville

It’s always fun to take in a few of the great things Nashville has to offer when company is here. Even this homebody who hates going out into the night had a pretty good time. We drove by Gaylord Opryland Hotel to see the Christmas lights. I forgot to take my camera, so I do appreciate finding these stock pictures.

An Opryland Christmas

The outdoor displays are just a glimpse of all there is to see, but that’s all we took in this time.

We went to BB Kings Blues Club to see a friend of Amber’s play with The Bart Walker Band. (Amber’s friend isn’t included in the video, but he’s just as good!) Talk about talent! Being part of a family of musicians makes me appreciate the real deal.

The obligatory tourist photo with the Wild Horse Saloon horse.

We also stopped in at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Coyote Ugly and another couple of places whose names I can’t remember. One of house bands played great Hank Williams music. The real deal!

Our company has since been to Denver where Ashley had a job interview and they (hopefully) found a place to live. They’re now in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota visiting family and friends and then back to Colorado for the next chapter of their young lives. Pretty exciting! We miss them already:)

  1. Looks like a magical night in Nashville. Always wanted to visit that town! Hope Ashley did well in her interview.

  2. Impressive holiday light display. I'm sure they're amazing in person. Happy Holidays!
