A visit to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center

We trekked to Huntsville, AL this past week for a couple of reasons. First, Dude works there. Okay, so we live in Tennessee and it's a 2 hour drive (one way) which he makes three days a week but that's a long, uninteresting story so I'll skip it.
More importantly, the space museum is there.

Even if you're not a fan of spacey things, this place is amazing.

Dude walking under an engine nozzle.

One of my favorite movies.

There are days I could use this.

Dude really likes science stuff. He probably should have been a rocket scientist instead of a software engineer. Really, he's a brainiac. Opposites do attract.

Project Runway episode possibilities?

Saturn V launch vehicle. Awesome!

This 75 ton space shuttle mockup was used to practice moving and handling the real deals.

Through the window.

Sisterly love.

Shoes were traded due to aching feet. :)
